HEAD LICE POLICY
Any child afflicted with head lice and/or nits is prohibited from attending Tenkiller School until such time they are free from head lice and/or nits.
Any child prohibited from attending school due to head lice and/or nits must be checked by the front office personnel before being allowed to re-enter school. Section 2601 of Title 63 Okla. Statutes.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is coming up soon on January 16th! Tenkiller is working with Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah and the Cherokee County Health Services Council VISTA Program to participate in service by collecting donations for the Day Center of Tahlequah. The Day Center directly serves the homeless & displaced families in Tahlequah. They are in need of kids sized coats (3 to 10 years). We will be taking donations until January 17th here at Tenkiller and at the Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah office!
Cherokee County Health Department will be coming to Tenkiller School to offer a child and adolescent health clinic. Please see attached flyer for more information.

Parents…Due to so many of our staff and students out because of sickness, tomorrow, December 16th, will be designated as a virtual day. The Head Start, Kindergarten, and 1st grade Christmas parties will be held today at 2:00. The Christmas Program will still be tonight at 7:00 and all 2nd-8th students will receive their Christmas money at the program. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope everyone can get well over the holiday.

Congratulations Warrior Varsity Football players on their win last night! They have advanced to the semi-finals next week. Tenkiller will play Zaneis at North Rock Creek, Monday, October 24th @ 5:00 p.m.
Blue and Gold orders will be here next week. You may pick up your orders Wednesday (10/26)-Friday (10/28) between 3:15 and 4:30.
